Exercise Do stronger exercise in the morning, like strength workouts or high-intensity interval training, and save restorative movement, like walking, gentle yoga, or tai chi, for the afternoon, says Hall Carlson. This may prevent you from getting too hyped up before bedtime, when it’s time to wind down for sleep.</image:caption>
